Spanish Fly Avens

Geum ‘Spanish Fly’ is also known by its common name of avens. It blooms in mid May to late June with single yellow orange flowers tipped with red. The flowers are held on thin stems 18 inches tall above a clump of green foliage 10 inches high. Plant it in full sun or partial shade. It is hardy in zones 4 – 8.
