Witch's-broom Ginkgo
Ginkgo biloba 'Todd's WB' is a dwarf cultivar. It will develop into a shrub like specimen that will reach about 4 feet high and wide in ten years. Todd's WB Ginkgo was discovered by Joe Stupka as a "witches broom" branch mutation. It has the typical lovely fan shaped Ginkgo leaves and outstanding golden yellow fall color. It is a male clone and will not produce the distinctive smelling fruit in the fall. It is resistant to deer and very pollution-tolerant. This cultivar would work well in containers, or used in other small spaces as an unusual feature providing a vibrant spot of fall color.
