Love Those Eyes daylily has golden yellow blooms with a very wide, bright red eyezone and a gold throat. The flowers are 4.5 inches and appear in mid season. The blooms stay open for at least 16 hours. Although each flower lasts only one day, there are multiple buds on each stalk and there are several stalks on each plant. The buds open in series, so a single plant will continue to bloom for 2 weeks or more. It is easy to grow and does well in full sun to part shade. Love Those Eyes has been awarded Junior Citation and Honorable Mention by the American Hemerocallis Society.
