Screech Owl daylily has large 6-inch blooms in blended shades of red with a yellow green throat. The delightfully fragrant blooms appear in early mid season. Each flower lasts only one day, but there are multiple buds on each stalk and several stalks on each plant. The buds open in series, so a single plant will continue to bloom for 2 weeks or more. It may re-bloom. It is easy to grow and does well in full sun or partial shade.
