Spider Miracle Daylily

Spider Miracle daylily has yellow-green spider flowers with green throats. The huge 8½ flowers appear in mid season exhibiting an unusual spatulate form. The petals are notably wider at the ends, resembling a kitchen spatula, and they curve back and under. Although each flower lasts only one day, there are multiple buds on each stalk and several stalks on each plant. The buds open in series, so a single plant will continue to bloom for 2 weeks or more. It is easy to grow and does well in full sun to part shade. The American Hemerocallis Society has awarded Spider Miracle the Lambert /Webster for best unusual form, as well as Honorable Mention and Award of Merit.
