Introduced in 2013 as part of the LITTLE CUTIE™ Series, Heuchera 'Frost' is a miniature repeat blooming introduction from Terra Nova Nurseries. Frost Coral Bells has more rounded and smaller leaves than is typical. The leaves are silver and dark green with burgundy veins, the flowers are a delicate pink. The silver covered leaves emerge more burgundy than green, and mature to dark green. This is a coral bells for full sun to shade and it will bloom all summer. It will attract bees and hummingbirds, and is deer resistant. This miniature coral bells will mature to a tidy mounded form about 6 inches tall by 8 inches wide; the decorative 9 inch spikes of pink flowers will appear in late spring and continue until frost. These small coral bells work particularly well in containers and the front row of borders. They can also can be mass planted in partial shade as a groundcover. In milder climates the foliage is persistent and decorative. Other names in the series are Heuchera 'Blondie in Lime', 'Blondie', 'Coco', 'Ginger Snap', 'Peppermint', 'Sugar Berry' and 'Sweet Tart'.
