DOLCE® Cinnamon Curls Alumroot is an outstanding dark orange alumroot selection introduced in 2013. Grown for its foliage, Cinnamon Curls Alumroot has dark orange, thick, highly ruffled leaves. The spring leaf color is more red-orange, later summer colors move toward dark browns and purples. At maturity Cinnamon Curls Alumroot creates a dense mound 8 inches tall by 12 inches wide. Insignificant cream colored flowers appear in early summer and increase the height to 18 inches. Best if grown in full sun to partial shade, it works well in containers, the front of mixed border plantings and planted as a ground cover. It will attract birds, bees and is deer resistant. In milder climates the foliage will remain decorative through the winter.
