Twist of Lime Heuchera

Twist of Lime Alumroot is a bright chartreuse yellow Heuchera hybrid with a twist. It has bright green yellow leaves with wavy textured edges. The ruffled edges diminish as the leaves mature, but new leaves continue to add interest and texture. It performs best when planted in semi-shade to prevent scorching and retain the best bright color in the foliage. Pale green flower scapes appear in early summer and open to foamy clusters of tiny cream flowers. Attractive to bees and hummingbirds and resistant to deer, the foliage also remains attractive all winter in areas with milder climates. At a maturity it creates a low mound of bright colored leaves 10 inches tall by 15 inches wide. Twist of Lime Alumroot will would work well in containers, front edges of semi-shade perennial borders and as a groundcover in partial shade.
