Panicle Hydrangea
The panicles of Pinky Winky panicle hydrangea (Hydrangea paniculata 'Dvppinky') grow up to 16 inches long, bearing large, white florets from midsummer up to frost. As the temperatures cool in fall, the lower (older) florets turn pink, creating a unique and ornamental pink-and-white combination of florets. This hardy deciduous shrub can grow to 8 feet high and 9 feet wide. Sunny positions in loamy soils, plus moderate irrigation and fertilization, are the keys to success with this cultivar.
