Dwarf Japanese Garden Juniper

This low-growing, creeping evergreen shrub reaches about 12 inches in height and can spread to 6 feet wide with full sun. It can grow in a number of different soil conditions but cannot tolerate wet soils. It is non-flowering, but it occasionally produces berry-like seed cones. It has spiny, bluish-green foliage that may become tinged with purple in the winter. This is another deer-resistant juniper grown primarily as a ground cover.
