Golden Guinea Japanese kerria (Kerria japonica 'Golden Guinea') is a mounded shrub that grows well in moist soils and in partially shaded locations. In early spring, it is covered with golden-yellow flowers the size of a silver dollar. Fall color is a pale lemon-yellow, and once the leaves drop, the shiny green stems provide interest in the landscape during the winter months.
