Purple Moor Grass

Moorflamme is an upright clumping perennial grass with narrow green leaves that turn a striking orange-red in the fall. From June through October, it produces dark purple flower strikes that rise above the foliage giving the plant an airy appearance; flowers fade to tan as they mature. Plant in full sun; this grass reaches 2 feet tall by 2 feet wide but grows slowly and requires three to five years to reach maturity.
