Armenian Grape Hyacinth
Muscari armeniacum 'Christmas Pearl' originates from southeastern Europe including Armenia and is commonly known as Grape Hyacinth. It grows 6 - 9 inches tall and blooms in March and April with violet blue, urn shaped flowers. Each scape has 20 or more flowers densely packed in a cone that is reminiscent of an upside down bunch of grapes. Plant it in full sun to part shade. It is resistant to deer and other wildlife and is hardy in zones 4–9.
