Border Jewel Himalayan Fleeceflower

Border Jewel Himalayan fleeceflower is derived from a wildflower native to the Himalayas. As a groundcover, Border Jewel grows to about eight inches tall with flower spikes growing to 12 inches tall. Each plant grows rapidly spreading to about 15 inches wide. The pale pink flower spikes appear in mid-spring.

This plant prefers afternoon shade and requires well-drained, even dryish soil and will not tolerate wet conditions. Because of its vigorous growth habit it can spread rapidly so care should be take when planting near natural areas and its growth monitored. It it suitable as an edging plant for borders and garden beds.
