Snowbelle Mockorange

Snowbelle mock orange bears large fragrant double white flowers in May to June. It is a compact deciduous shrub, growing to about 3-4 feet in height and in width but with an open habit and gently arching branches. While this shrub is adaptable to a range of conditions, it prefers sunny locations, rich, consistently moist soils, but cannot tolerate poor drainage. Plant this shrub where the canes can arch gracefully and the scented flowers can be appreciated. It makes a wonderful screen or hedge or backdrop to a sunny border. Prune back after flowering and cut back to the ground if very overgrown.
