Phlox ‘Fashionably Early Flamingo’ grows 30 -36 inches tall and blooms from June to August with pale lavender flowers. It is attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds and is hardy in zones 4 - 8. The genus name is from the Greek word phlox meaning flame in reference to the many bright colors of some varieties.
