Moss Phlox

Phlox subulata ‘White Delight’ is commonly known as a moss phlox or creeping phlox. It grows only 4 -6 inches high, forming a dense mat of dark green foliage 2 feet wide. It blooms in mid to late spring with a showy display of white flowers. Plant it in full sun. It is resistant to deer, drought tolerant and hardy in zones 2 - 9. The genus name is from the Greek word phlox meaning flame in reference to the many bright colors of some varieties.
