Horsford white pine is a dense, slow-growing dwarf conifer with short, lime green needles that grows to 1 foot in 10 years. Best in full sun, it will tolerate part shade and prefers fertile, well-drained soil. Use in the rock garden, as a foundation planting, or as a specimen plant in the perennial border.
