Schwerin Pine

Selected as one of the Collectors Conifers of the Year by the American Conifer Society in 2014, Schwerin pine is a hybrid of Eastern white pine and Himalayan white pine, combining the cold-hardiness of its native parent and the longer needle length of the Asian one. It grows best in moist soil, where it can reach 35 feet tall.
