This tree grows to a height of about 20 feet with full sun and moderate moisture conditions. In March and April it produces showy, fragrant, pink and white blooms. These give way in the summer to red and yellow plums that attract birds. This is a good shade tree and a specimen. Foliage is yellow and orange in the fall.
