English Shrub Rose
The deep red roses of  TESS OF THE D'URBERVILLES® are so heavy with petals they bend over with their weight. That makes it particularly attractive as an 8-foot climber against a wall or on an obelisk. But you can also prune to about 4 feet and use it as a shrub in the border.
TESS OF THE D'URBERVILLES® comes from David Austin, the breeder dedicated to bringing
together the shapes and scents of old-fashioned roses with the repeat
bloom, hardiness, and disease resistance of modern roses. Like all
roses, the more sun you give it, the more flowers you'll get in return.
Remember that even the most disease resistant roses need help fighting
fungal diseases if you can't give them full sun or good
air circulation. And all roses, particularly repeat bloomers, are
heavy feeders, so for best performance fertilize in spring and again in mid-summer.
