Foot long spikes of intensely purple flowers and bracts are produced above the bushy well branched plants from June up to the first hard frost. Green heart shaped leaves are retained all of the way down to the ground throughout the season. Plant in full sun and well drained soils for best results. Suitable for containers on flower bed use.
