Oracle Iceberg Sedum

This is one outdoor plant you can enjoy year=round. The dense, fine-textured leaves of 'Oracle' stonecrop are a cool, silvery blue all summer, with clusters of tiny yellow flowers rising well above its mat of foliage from May through July. When bloom's over and the weather turns cold, 'Oracle's' leaves develop purplish overtones.
And it's evergreen.

The common name for Sedum forsterianum 'Oracle' and its immediate family is stonecrop, probably because these mat-forming perennials are native to rocky outcrops on cliffs and mountains. This cultivar, forsterianum, comes from Western Europe. Like almost all Sedum, with a lot of sun, a little water, and good drainage it's happy almost anywhere - green roofs to containers to rock gardens and perennial beds.
