Black dragon coleus is a dramatic annual plant with showy ruffled leaves. The centers of the leaves are bright red and the leaf edges are a deep purplish black giving the appearance of a streak of molten lava across the leaf. This coleus grows to about a foot high and wide and prefers partly shaded spots and moist well-drained soils. coleus are favorites for bedding plants, planters and window boxes for their wide range of colors and textures. Black Dragon would add depth to plantings with lighter colored foliage.
