Soft pink, daisy-shaped flowers cover this robust, 3-foot, semi-woody hardy perennial from late August through September. It has a mounding growth habit. Plant this aster in full sun and average soil and avoid excessive fertilization that could lead to flopping stems. The flowers are a butterfly and honeybee magnet. It can be divided every 2-3 years in spring. It prefers full sun in average, well-drained soil.
