Meadowrue
In spring, Elin’s shoots emerge purple then into fern-like blue-green foliage. The mauve and cream flower clusters appear on tall self-supporting stems in July-August. It has a long bloom period because it sets no seed (it is a hybrid between Yellow Meadowrue [Thalictrum flavum glaucum] and Lavender Mist Meadowrue [T. rochebrunianum]).It prefers partial shade and rich soil, but will take more sun if the soil remains evenly moist.
