Weeping Canada Hemlock
This cultivar has a different form than the species and can reach a height of 5’ with a spread of 10’. It can be trained with a support to give it more height or allowed to spread its weeping branches. It prefers cool, moist, well-drained soils in full sun or partial shade and will even tolerate full shade. Plant in a site protected from the wind. It can be pruned heavily in the spring for hedging.
