Did you know that there are flowers that look like female bees, plants that look like rocks, and leaves that act like insect traps? Spend the day investigating some fascinating plant adaptations to see how the structure and function of their parts allow them to get nutrients when there are few, protect them from harsh environmental conditions, disperse their seeds to new places, and avoid being eaten by hungry animals. Recognize how plant adaptations can be used to teach biomimicry and inspire solutions to human problems.
